Will Reggie Wayne, Ahmad Bradshaw Play Saturday?

Will Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne and running back Ahmad Bradshaw play on Saturday?

Chuck Pagano keeps getting asked whether wide receiver Reggie Wayne or running back Ahmad Bradshaw will play on Saturday.  And like a football coach, he really didn't say either way.

On Tuesday, Pagano was again asked whether Reggie will play this Saturday, making his preseason debut, and Pagano replied:

"He might. We'll see how he does this week. We talked about him wanting to get in there, but we're going to be smart, see how the week goes. He'll be a game-time decision."

General manager Ryan Grigson was also asked about Reggie's status and whether he'll play this weekend:

"We haven't gotten to that point yet to where we've made a decision on that. He's kind of the least of our worries honestly. Reggie is the least of our worries. It really hasn't come up all that often. We know that Reggie's going to be ready when we need to call on him."

Running back Ahmad Bradshaw also spoke to the media on Tuesday, and he was asked whether he has been told about his status for Saturday yet, and he replied:

"They haven't yet. I practice every week like I'm going to play. That's my momentum right now is to hope that I'm going into the game playing hopefully full speed."

He's no longer wearing the red practice jersey, which he described is a "green light" for him, and he also talked about whether he needs to play in preseason to be ready:

"I don't feel like I need to, but I want to. There's just something about getting out there and feeling the pace of the game and just getting back with the guys letting them know I still have it, can make plays and help this team."

Both players are just being held out for precautionary reasons, but if they're going to play this preseason, it'd most likely be this Saturday, in the third game against the Saints when the starters play the most.  No decision has been reached yet, but if either Reggie Wayne or Ahmad Bradshaw is going to play in the preseason, it'll likely be this weekend.
