Previewing Colts vs. Saints with Canal Street Chronicles

Stampede Blue and Canal Street Chronicles got together to discuss Saturday's preseason game between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight, the Indianapolis Colts take on the New Orleans Saints in a nationally televised game from Indianapolis.  The third preseason game is typically the one in which the starters play the most, so we expect to see a lot from the Colts first team players and it will be a good test for them to go up against another good team in the Saints.

I took the time to chat with Canal Street Chronicle's JR Ella about the matchup between the two teams tonight, sure, but also about the Colts and the Saints in general and expectations for the season.  We're using a program called ReplyAll, which is a lot like an email conversation, but it allows you all to read it as it goes on.  We've gotten a good start, but we'll likely be adding a couple of replies throughout the day today too, so check back.

The Colts are a good team.  The Saints are a good team.  They play tonight and we should be able to learn quite a bit about the teams in the game, but more importantly they're both teams with high expectations, goals, and hopes for the year.  It's a fun opportunity to talk about both the Colts and the Saints, and you can read our conversation below - which will be updated in real time as responses come.
