In a normal game week, Friday's injury report is the final one released and often can give us a good idea of who will and won't play on Sunday. But with the Colts playing on Monday, everything is pushed back a day, meaning that the Friday injury report is similar to Thursday's on a normal week. In other words, there will still be another one released tomorrow.
But as far as today's, here's the injury report:
Josh Chapman, NT (ankle) - limited practice
Jerrell Freeman, ILB (hamstring) - did not practice
Arthur Jones, DE (shoulder) - did not practice
Joe Reitz, OL (ankle) - did not practice
Greg Toler, CB (ribs) - limited practice
Reggie Wayne, WR (rest) - full practice
Ahmad Bradshaw, RB (rest) - full practice
Khaled Holmes, C (ankle) - limited practice
Sergio Brown, S (shoulder) - full practice
A few thoughts...
- Yesterday, there were six players who didn't practice. Today, there were only three. Obviously, that's moving in the right direction! Still, though, two of the three guys who didn't practice today are defensive starters: linebacker Jerrell Freeman and defensive lineman Arthur Jones. I'm not sure about the status of either of them for Monday, but defensive coordinator Greg Manusky did talk today about how Josh McNary is seeing the first team reps with Freeman out and that Henoc Muamba is ready to step in as well. If I had to guess, I don't think we'll see Freeman on Monday, but there's still time, so we'll see.
- Khaled Holmes was limited for the second straight day. Greg Toler didn't practice at all yesterday but was limited today. That's the same thing with Josh Chapman - he was out yesterday but limited today.
- Reggie Wayne and Ahmad Bradshaw were both full participation today. Reggie sat out yesterday and Bradshaw was limited, both due to rest. Both of them are fine.
