It's game day! Monday Night Football is finally back in Indianapolis, and fans and players alike are pumped up for the game. Not only is it the Colts' home opener or Monday Night Football, however, it's a good matchup between the Colts and the Philadelphia Eagles. It should be a great game. This is your open thread for the game.
Here's your need to know info for the game tonight:
Game Time:
8:30 p.m. ET, Monday, September 15, 2014
Location:
Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN
TV Channel:
ESPN
Radio Schedule:
WFNI and WLHK in Indianapolis
Prediction:
Here's what I (Josh) wrote Saturday in my game preview (shameless plug: I'd recommend reading the whole thing):
Although most games don't live up to the hype, this game should. These are two good teams and I don't see either team really pulling away at any point in the game (unless, of course, the Colts get behind early and have to come back to make it close. With Chuck Pagano and Pep Hamilton, you can't rule that gameplan out). This game should be a very good one and it could go either way, but the fact that the Colts have Andrew Luck (and have yet to lose back-to-back games with him at quarterback) and are playing at home leads me to give the edge to the Colts. I'm taking Indy in a close one.
Colts 31, Eagles 28
Here's Matt Grecco's prediction of the game: Eagles 23, Colts 22
