Colts vs. Eagles: Second Half Open Thread

Here's your open thread for the second half of the game between the Colts and the Eagles.

Andy Lyons

In a shocking turn of events, the Indianapolis Colts' rushing attack has powered a 17-6 halftime lead for Indianapolis over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.

Trent Richardson, playing easily his best half in a Colts uniform, rushed 13 times for 57 yards, averaging 4.4 yards per carry.  Ahmad Bradshaw carried the ball 5 times for 45 yards (5 yards per carry) and caught 3 passes for 15 yards and a touchdown.  The Colts as a team have rushed for 101 yards on 19 carries, averaging 5.3 yards per attempt.

They've held the Eagles to just 46 yards on 14 carries, averaging 3.3 yards per rush (and LeSean McCoy has just 28 yards on 9 carries).  Nick Foles, however, has thrown for 187 yards.  The Colts defense has held in the red zone, though, and overall the first half was about as good as you could have hoped for from the Colts - especially considering that Andrew Luck didn't look good.

There's still 30 more minutes to play and the Colts have to keep it up, but so far there's a lot to be encouraged by in the first half for the Colts.  Here's your open thread for the second half, and hopefully the Colts can keep it up!

At halftime, the Colts lead the Eagles 17-6.
