Though there were reports earlier that former Bills and Colts general manager Bill Polian would be returning to the Bills as Team President, it turns out that won't be happening after all. According to a number of media reports, including Vic Carucci (a friend of Polian's), Bill Polian will be remaining with ESPN and will not be joining the Bills.
Bill Polian has informed me that he is remaining at ESPN and will not join the #Bills.

It made sense for Polian to return to the Bills, as he remains very fond of the franchise and the city of Buffalo. He served as GM of the Bills from 1986-1993, and then served as President of the Colts from 1998-2011, spending most of that time as General Manager as well. He's a very good football executive - one of the best ever - and will have a very good shot at being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this spring as a contributor finalist. And according to a number of reports today, Polian will be remaining at ESPN and will not be joining the Bills after all.
