Happy New Year, Colts fans! The Colts will look to get 2015 started off right with a victory on Sunday over the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, but already the first day of the new year has brought relatively good information: there were only two players who didn't practice today for the Colts, and everyone else was a full participant. That's about as good as it gets in January. Let's take a look at the full injury report:
Did Not Practice:
Hugh Thornton, OL (shoulder)
A.Q. Shipley, OL (ankle)
Full Practice:
Erik Walden, OLB (knee)
Reggie Wayne, WR (groin)
Bjoern Werner, OLB (shoulder)
Josh Cribbs, RS (rest Wednesday)
Dwayne Allen, TE (knee)
Jerrell Freeman, LB (hamstring)
Joe Reitz, OL (ankle)
A few notes:
- For the second straight day, neither A.Q. Shipley nor Hugh Thornton practiced. Shipley is "day-to-day" and Thornton is "week-to-week," though all signs currently point to neither being available for the Colts this Sunday.
- The rest of the injury report is encouraging, however. Yesterday, Erik Walden, Reggie Wayne, and Bjoern Werner were all limited, but today all three were full participants - which is a good sign.
- Yesterday, Gosder Cherilus was limited in practice, but later that evening the Colts placed him on injured reserve - ending his season.
