2015 NFL Playoffs: Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks in NFC Championship Game

New, comments

Here's your open thread for the NFC Championship game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks.

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts will take on the New England Patriots in just under four hours in the AFC Championship game, but that's actually the second of the two conference championship games today.  The first one is the NFC Championship game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks.

The Packers (13-4) won the NFC North and earned the number two overall seed in the NFC playoffs, while the Seahawks (13-4) won the NFC West and the top overall seed.  They will play for the right to go to the Super Bowl in the NFC Championship game starting at 3:05 p.m. ET on FOX.

The second game, of course, is the Colts (13-5), the AFC South champions and fourth seed in the AFC playoffs, at the Patriots (13-4), winners of the AFC East and the top overall seed.  They too will play for the right to go to the Super Bowl in the AFC Championship game, broadcast on CBS at 6:40 p.m. ET.

Two of these final four teams will advance to play each other in the Super Bowl, and it should be an interesting and good game between the top two overall seeds in the NFC to start it off.  Here's an open thread for you to discuss the early game - or, rather, to continue to get pumped up for the Colts game later today.  And here's a discussion question if you need something to talk about: if the Colts were to win today, who would you rather face in the Super Bowl - the Packers or the Seahawks?
