This is the game that many Colts and Patriots fans have been waiting for. The teams may simply say that it's just another game, but the history between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots makes for an intriguing matchup on Sunday Night Football this weekend.
The two teams have met in every season since 2003, an incredible feat for two non-division opponents, but it has been one-sided recently, with the Patriots having won the last six and all four matchups against the Colts in the Andrew Luck era. That includes last year's AFC Championship game, in which the Patriots ran all over the Colts and in which the entire Deflategate mess got started.
This weekend, the 4-0 Patriots will take on the 3-2 Colts, and by all indications the Patriots are the better team and will be looking for a dominant win as a sort of revenge for Deflategate. The Colts, meanwhile, hope to have Andrew Luck back and will be looking to beat the team that has knocked them out of the playoffs in embarrassing fashion in each of the past two seasons.
