In case you hadn't heard, today is Back to the Future day! In other words, today is the very day that Marty McFly went to in Back to the Future II, which is certainly worth celebrating. I'm feeling a bit disappointed now that it's looking like the Cubs won't be winning the World Series after all (hey, there's still a chance, and they've still had a great year), but that's beside the point.
In celebration, SB Nation's Buccaneers site, Bucs Nation, posed the question to their readers of which Bucs player would they most like to bring Back to the Future, and I think that's a fitting and interesting question to ask here as well. So here it is: which former Colts player, in his prime, would you most want to bring Back to the Future to put on this team, and why?
Since the movie's release in 1989, the Colts have completely turned their franchise around. Since that point, players like Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, Marshall Faulk, Dwight Freeney, Jeff Saturday, Tarik Glenn, and others have played in Indianapolis. Would one of them be your choice to bring Back to the Future for this team? You can decide for yourself whether you want to apply this only to the Indianapolis era or whether you want to include the Baltimore era, but if that's the case it would open up several other very good options.
So have at it. Which former Colts player would you most want to bring Back to the Future to place on this 2015 team?
