Colts embarrassed in first half, trail Saints 20-0

Here's your open thread for the second half of the game between the Colts and the Saints.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

That was bad.  Really, really bad.  The first half of that game was all Saints, with the Colts struggling to do much of anything.  At halftime, the Saints lead the Colts 20-0 at Lucas Oil Stadium, and the offense was booed off the field multiple times in the first half.  That tells you pretty much all you need to know, especially considering that the boos were deserved.

Andrew Luck looked terrible.  I don't know what has happened to him this year, but he has clearly regressed.  The wide receivers weren't getting much done.  The line still wasn't great.  Turnovers plagued the Colts again (three of them in the first half).  The defense has actually done a solid job at times, but they have allowed three touchdowns.

That half was just terrible, and a 20-point deficit doesn't even tell how bad it was.  Remember, the Saints are 2-4 with the worst defense in the NFL.  Nobody expected this game to be an easy one for Indy, but it was expected that they'd be able to get their offense going.  The fact that they haven't yet is concerning.

Feel free to turn off the TV, go outside and enjoy this nice fall day, and then come back later and read here at Stampede Blue all about how terrible this game was.  Seriously.  But if you want to continue watching, here's an open thread for you to discuss the second half.
