The Indianapolis Colts (3-4) will look to get their season back on track on Monday Night Football this week against the Carolina Panthers (6-0). The Panthers are one of the NFL's remaining few unbeaten teams, while the Colts have yet to get a win outside of the AFC South this year. It Indy hopes to get their first one this week, they'll need to notch a road win against an undefeated team, which is no small task.
Both teams lead their respective divisions, as the Colts are in first place in the AFC South and the Panthers are in first place in the NFC South, and both teams have won their division and made the playoffs in each of the past two seasons as well. Furthermore, both teams have a former first overall pick as their franchise quarterback, as the Panthers took Cam Newton first overall in 2011 and the Colts took Andrew Luck first overall in 2012. There are similarities between the two teams, for sure, but on the field, the Panthers have clearly been much better than the Colts have been this year. The Colts are 1-4 all-time against the Panthers, but that lone win came the last time they played in Carolina in a 31-7 victory in 2007. This year's team will look to follow that road success and win on Monday Night Football this week.
