NFL week eight schedule and open thread

Here's your open thread for Sunday's NFL action.

James Lang-USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts aren't playing today, as they are getting ready for their Monday night matchup with the Carolina Panthers tomorrow.  Of course, we're all looking forward to that game, but there's plenty of NFL action taking place throughout the day today anyway - from 9:30 a.m. through the end of the night game, it will be a complete day of football.

So while the Colts aren't playing, there's still plenty to watch.  Here's the full schedule of games today:

9:30 a.m. ET

Detroit Lions vs. Kansas City Chiefs (in London)

1:00 p.m. ET

San Diego Chargers at Baltimore Ravens

Arizona Cardinals at Cleveland Browns

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans

New York Giants at New Orleans Saints

San Francisco 49ers at St. Louis Rams

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons

4:05 p.m. ET

New York Jets at Oakland Raiders

4:25 p.m. ET

Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys

8:30 p.m. ET

Green Bay Packers at Denver Broncos

Which games will you be keeping an eye on?  Of course, the biggest matchup of the day is easily the Sunday night matchup between the Green Bay Packers (6-0) and the Denver Broncos (6-0), just the fourth time in league history that two teams 6-0 or better will meet.  If you remember, one of the others involved Peyton Manning as well as the Indianapolis Colts faced the New England Patriots in 2007, with the Colts losing 24-20 in a close, entertaining game.  Hopefully, tonight's game will be just as entertaining.

Anyway, here's your open thread for you to discuss all of today's action as you wait for tomorrow for the Colts to take the field.
