On Saturday, the Indianapolis Colts ruled out three players who will miss Monday night's game against the Carolina Panthers: center Khaled Holmes (neck), inside linebacker Nate Irving (knee), and wide receiver Phillip Dorsett (ankle). Another player, safety Winston Guy, was listed as doubtful with a shoulder injury. The Colts traveled to Charlotte today but Guy was not with them, meaning that he will be out for Monday night's game.
#colts S Winston Guy did not make trip to Charlotte. Out.

Guy is not crucial to a Colts' win tomorrow night, but it's still not great whenever you lose depth. Guy is a special teams player who hasn't seen reps with the defense yet this year. The team obviously likes him, however, as they opted to keep him over Dewey McDonald out of training camp both to develop as a safety and to play on special teams. Other players should be able to fill in adequately on the coverage units on Monday night, though. At safety, Mike Adams and Dwight Lowery are the starters while Clayton Geathers and Colt Anderson are the backups, so Guy was the fifth man at the position anyway.
That's four players ruled out for the Colts on Monday night but only one starter (Holmes), though both Dorsett and Irving could be contributors if healthy. In other words, we already know four of the seven inactives for the Colts for Monday night's huge showdown with the Panthers.
