NFL week ten open thread

New, comments

The Colts are on a bye week, but here's an open thread for Sunday's NFL action in week ten.

The Indianapolis Colts don't play today, as they are on their much-needed bye week.  The team sits at 4-5, but they are in first place in the AFC South and will look to keep it that way over the second half of the season to make the playoffs.  To get ready for that, then, it would be great if the Colts are at full health, which is why the bye week comes at an ideal time.

Of course, one notable injury probably won't be healed during the bye week, as quarterback Andrew Luck is expected to miss significant time with a lacerated kidney and a torn abdominal muscle.  Furthermore, defensive lineman Henry Anderson is out for the year with a torn ACL, which is another big loss.  With that said, though, many other players have been playing through smaller injuries, and hopefully they will be able to get healthy during the bye week.

Because of the Colts' bye week, however, that means they won't be playing today.  That doesn't have to stop you from watching football, however, as there are a number of games on throughout the day that will be interesting and fun to watch.  Here's the full slate of games today:

1:00 p.m. ET

Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers

Dallas Cowboys at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Carolina Panthers at Tennessee Titans

Chicago Bears at St. Louis Rams

New Orleans Saints at Washington Redskins

Miami Dolphins at Philadelphia Eagles

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers

Jacksonville Jaguars at Baltimore Ravens

4:05 p.m. ET

Minnesota Vikings at Oakland Raiders

4:25 p.m. ET

New England Patriots at New York Giants

Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos

8:30 p.m. ET

What are you most looking forward to watching today?  Here's your open thread to discuss today's NFL action.
