The Indianapolis Colts don't play today, as they are on their much-needed bye week. The team sits at 4-5, but they are in first place in the AFC South and will look to keep it that way over the second half of the season to make the playoffs. To get ready for that, then, it would be great if the Colts are at full health, which is why the bye week comes at an ideal time.
Of course, one notable injury probably won't be healed during the bye week, as quarterback Andrew Luck is expected to miss significant time with a lacerated kidney and a torn abdominal muscle. Furthermore, defensive lineman Henry Anderson is out for the year with a torn ACL, which is another big loss. With that said, though, many other players have been playing through smaller injuries, and hopefully they will be able to get healthy during the bye week.
Because of the Colts' bye week, however, that means they won't be playing today. That doesn't have to stop you from watching football, however, as there are a number of games on throughout the day that will be interesting and fun to watch. Here's the full slate of games today:
