Buccaneers lead Colts 12-6 at halftime

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lead the Indianapolis 12-6 at halftime of today's game from Lucas Oil Stadium.

At the halfway point of Sunday's game between the Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Lucas Oil Stadium, the Buccaneers hold the 12-6 lead over the Colts after a rather ugly half from Indianapolis.

It has been particularly rough for the Colts offense, a unit that has been unable to get much going whatsoever.  Matt Hasselbeck has had some moments, completing 12 of 20 passes for 140 yards, but he has made some questionable decisions and hasn't been particularly sharp.  The passing game has been much more productive than the run game, however, as the Colts have rushed for just 13 yards on 10 carries so far.  The Colts racked up just 148 yards of offense in the first half, managing only two field goals by Adam Vinatieri (at least he's automatic).

Defensively, the Colts have had a couple of key holds to limit Tampa Bay to two field goals before a touchdown near the end of the half, but overall they have struggled defensively as well.  Making matters worse is that Jameis Winston, Doug Martin, and the rest of the Buccaneers offense is starting to get hot and get going, and with Tampa Bay receiving the kickoff to start the second half, that's not ideal.

Here's your open thread for the second half of today's game, one that figures to come down to the end once again.
