The Indianapolis Colts (3-5) will head into a much-needed bye week after this Sunday's game, but before that they will be looking to establish some momentum moving forward by beating the undefeated Denver Broncos (7-0) at Lucas Oil Stadium in week nine.
The Broncos boast the league's top-ranked defense, and on the other side of the ball is quarterback Peyton Manning. Manning will be making what will likely be his last trip to Indianapolis for a game at Lucas Oil Stadium, and it comes with number 18 looking to set the career records for wins (needing one more) and passing yards (needing 284 more).
The Colts, however, will be looking to prevent those records - primarily the first one as they look to get on track and record their first non-AFC South win of the season. Things haven't been going well for Indianapolis, so much so that they fired offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton earlier this week. This Sunday's game will mark the team's first with Rob Chudzinski running the offense, so it will be interesting to see whether there's much change.
The Colts and the Broncos have faced off three times in the Andrew Luck era, with the Colts winning two of the three (including last year's playoff matchup). The series has been very one-sided recently, with the Colts winning 10 of the last 13, but all-time the series is tied at 12 (including playoffs). With that said, here's everything you need to know about this Sunday's game:
