Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Open Thread

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts return to Sunday Night Football once again tonight to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in a key early-December AFC matchup.

The Steelers are 6-5 and competing for a wild card spot, while the Colts are 6-5 and leading the AFC South. The Houston Texans lost a crucial game today, so regardless of the result tonight the Colts will stay in first place in the division, but getting a win would be a way to gain a game on the Texans. For the Steelers, they're also looking to make a push to get in the playoffs, and winning tonight against an AFC opponent would give them a solid boost.

It will be a tough game for the Colts as they face a quarterback who last year threw for 522 yards and six touchdowns against them while putting up 51 points. Ben Roethlisberger is again having a very good season while healthy, and he'll face a Colts team without their starting quarterback tonight as Matt Hasselbeck starts his third game in a row.
