Super Bowl 50 Odds: Seahawks the Early Favorites, Colts at 16-1

According to the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook, the Seattle Seahawks are the early favorites to win Super Bowl 50, while the Colts' odds are at 16-1.

Super Bowl XLIX was just played last night, with the New England Patriots defeating the Seattle Seahawks 28-24, but it's never too early to start looking ahead to next year.  The 2016 Super Bowl will be a huge one, as it's Super Bowl 50 and will be played in San Francisco.

Though the Seattle Seahawks lost this year's Super Bowl, they're still the very early favorites to win the game next year at 5-1, according to the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook.  The Patriots, this year's champion, are second with 6-1 odds.

The Indianapolis Colts are relatively high on the list, as they are tied for the sixth-best odds to win next year's Super Bowl at 16-1, behind the Seahawks, Patriots, Packers, Broncos, Cowboys, and tied with the Eagles.  They have the third-best odds of any AFC team, behind the Patriots and the Broncos.  It's a bit strange to see Denver above them, as there's a lot of uncertainty there and the Colts beat them in the playoffs this year, but either way, the Colts are still pretty high up there.

The worst odds for Super Bowl 50?  The Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Oakland Raiders all have 300-1 odds.  Notice that two AFC South teams are there at the very bottom of the list.
