Yesterday evening the reports surfaced that former 49ers running back Frank Gore had reconsidered his deal with the Eagles and was leaning towards joining the Colts, and again this morning it sounded like that is indeed what would happen.
Frank Gore is currently en route to Indianapolis on Jim Irsay's private jet to sign a deal with the Colts. The team had to wait to put him on Irsay's plane until 4:00 p.m. when the new league year started and Gore's contract expired, per ESPN's Mike Wells.

Schefter adds that Gore and wide receiver Andre Johnson are expected to arrive in Indianapolis early this evening on Irsay's jet.
