Tracking Indianapolis Colts 2015 Free Agency News, Rumors, and Updates

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

The "legal tampering" period is underway in the NFL and free agency is right around the corner.  The new league year starts on Tuesday, March 10, at 4:00 p.m. eastern time, and at that point all 2014 contracts expire and a number of players become free agents.  The Colts have roughly $40 million in cap room and figure to be aggressive in pursuing players to help them beat the Patriots and get to the Super Bowl.

In this post we'll be tracking all of the news, rumors, reports, and updates as it pertains to the Indianapolis Colts and free agency.  It's crucial to keep in mind that not everything you read will actually happen, as this is the season for misinformation.  We will list everything below without the word "report" or "reportedly," but keep in mind that, unless something is cited as "TEAM RELEASE" it is not official yet.   So remember to be sure to take everything with a grain of salt when it comes to these reports, as some of them are almost certainly not true (though some are very likely to be true).

But we'll track all of it here for you, and you can always follow our free agency page for more in-depth analysis.  In the format below, we'll briefly state the rumor and then the source in parenthesis.  Clicking on the link will provide more information, and the updates will be listed from newest to oldest.  And, of course, follow us on twitter and like us on Facebook to stay up to date with the latest Colts free agency news.
