The pre-draft visits for the Indianapolis Colts continue as we're just two weeks away from the start of the 2015 NFL Draft, and we can add another player to the list of those who have visited with the Colts.  According to the National Football Post's Aaron Wilson, Marshall cornerback Darryl Roberts both visited with and worked out for the Colts.

Roberts, a 6-0, 182 pound corner, recorded  186 tackles, 35 passes defensed, five interceptions, one sack, and one forced fumble in his career at Marshall.  While he wasn't invited to attend the NFL Scouting Combine, he really impressed scouts with his pro day, where he ran a 4.36 and 4.39 40, among other impressive numbers.

The corner figures to be a late-round draft pick on day three of the draft, but according to Wilson he has also had workouts with the Eagles, 49ers, and Packers, as well as visits with the Eagles and Chiefs.  He's drawing some interest as a day three pick, and he could be an intriguing option for the Colts.  Josh Gordy did not have a good season at all last year as the Colts' fourth cornerback and so they decided to move on from him this year in free agency (he recently signed with the Giants).  That leaves an open spot at the cornerback position, however, and while guys like Jalil Brown, Deveron Carr, and Sheldon Price will be competing for the spot, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Colts add a corner to the mix.  Their starting group of Vontae Davis, Greg Toler, and Darius Butler figures to be a strength once again, but after that there are spots to be won.
