2015 NFL Draft: Best Players Available for Colts Entering Second Round

The second and third rounds of the NFL Draft will take place tonight, so let's take a look at some of the best players available for teams, including the Colts.

Crystal LoGiudice-USA TODAY Sports

The first round of the draft is over, but there are still six rounds to go, and for the Indianapolis Colts they currently have eight more picks to make.  On Friday night, rounds two and three will take place, and there should be a number of intriguing names for the Colts to consider.

There are a lot of very good options for the Colts still available after day one, and a number of them would have been considered good picks in the first round for the team.  Guys like defensive lineman Eddie Goldman, inside linebacker Eric Kendricks, and safety Landon Collins stand out as particularly interesting players for the Colts, and then the fall of Randy Gregory and La'El Collins is something to continue to keep an eye on as well.

For Indy, it's likely that in order to get someone like Goldman, Kendricks, or Collins that they would need to move up in the second round, but with eight remaining picks and good talent still available that must be open as a possibility.  What is clear, however, is that there are a lot of remaining players available that will be good value picks for teams in the second round.  In fact, of Mocking the Draft's Dan Kadar's top 32 prospects, 11 of them are still left on the board (you can see the list below).

Simply put, for Colts fans who don't like the top pick for the team, there's good news: they have eight more picks, and there is a lot of talent still available.
