The expectations for the Indianapolis Colts in 2015 are clear: it's all about getting to and winning the Super Bowl. While it's not to the level that anything short of a Lombardi trophy would be absolute failure, the expectations are very high for the Colts this year. We already saw that, according to Bovada, they are the AFC favorites and have the third-best odds to win the Super Bowl.
Sportsbook also seems to really like the Colts, as they have installed the Seattle Seahawks versus the Indianapolis Colts as the most likely Super Bowl 50 matchup with 15-1 odds. Next is the Seahawks versus New England Patriots with 18-1 odds, while third is the Green Bay Packers against the Colts - with 20-1 odds.
Two of Sportsbook's top three most likely Super Bowl matchups include the Colts, and the current favorite is the Seahawks versus the Colts. It would mark the third straight year in which Seattle reached the game's biggest stage, looking to win their second title while the Colts would be looking for their first in the Andrew Luck era. It would also be a game that would feature two of the league's best young quarterbacks in the Colts' Andrew Luck and the Seahawks' Russell Wilson (and so, surely, the 'QB winz' debate would be in full swing leading up to the game).
The Colts have faced the Seahawks once in the Andrew Luck era, winning a thriller in Indianapolis in 2013 by the score of 34-28. The duo of Luck and wide receiver T.Y. Hilton ended up being the difference, as they hooked up five times for 140 yards and two scores as Seattle couldn't cover the wideout and Luck took advantage of it. With an exciting passing offense filled with even more weapons in 2015, Seattle would certainly have their hands full trying to stop Indy, but they also would likely boast one of the league's top defenses as well - making for a very intriguing Super Bowl matchup.
Of course, there's a reason why they actually play the games, as it's impossible to tell what will actually happen. But according to Sportsbook, the most likely scenario is the Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts facing off in Santa Clara, California in Super Bowl 50.
