Phillip Dorsett shows off Colts uniform at NFLPA Rookie Premiere - though with the wrong number

Colts rookie wide receiver is at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere this weekend and showed off his new Colts uniform - though with the wrong jersey number.

The NFLPA Rookie Premiere is taking place this weekend, and it's a time for some of the top rookies to come together and get financial training, learn how to grow their brand, meet with marketers and sponsors, and, perhaps most exciting to fans, show off their new uniforms.

For the Colts, their first round pick is at the Rookie Premiere, and wide receiver Phillip Dorsett modeled the blue and white as he posed for pictures at the event.  He looks good in that blue uniform, but there's one catch - he's wearing the wrong number.

That's right, at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere, Phillip Dorsett is wearing the wrong uniform number.  His jersey at the event has number 16 on it, while the number he will wear with the Colts is number 15 and is the number he's been wearing recently at OTAs.  He cleared up the confusion on twitter by confirming that 15 is his number:

The mix-up is understandable, however.  When Dorsett initially was given a number, he was assigned number 16.  Shortly after that, however, he changed his number to 15.  So while he has been wearing number 15 in OTAs recently, he did initially start off his Colts career as number 16 in rookie mini-camp, which is almost certainly where the confusion came in.

With that said, here are some photos of Phillip Dorsett in his Colts uniform for the first time:
