The 2015 NFL Draft just concluded last weekend, but that doesn't mean we're done with mock drafts! Mocking the Draft's Dan Kadar put out a way-too-early 2016 mock draft on Monday, so let's take a look at that.
Oh, and as for the order, Kadar simply took the most recent pre-draft Super Bowl odds to determine the order, so there's not much prediction for how the NFL season will play out from Kadar. If it does play out the way this order suggests, however, the Colts would be playing on the game's biggest stage, but would fall short to the Packers.
Kadar has the Colts selecting 31st overall and taking Baylor defensive tackle Andrew Billings. The 6-2, 300 pound defensive tackle is entering his third season at Baylor. In 2013 as a true freshman, he played in 11 games and recorded 29 tackles (3.5 for loss), while in 2014 he played in 13 games, recording 37 tackles (11.5 for loss), two sacks, and a forced fumble.
Obviously, this is way too early to project anything for next year's draft. We don't know the draft order, we don't know what positions will be considered big needs next offseason, we don't know how college players will do and how they will develop, and we don't even know which college players will be entering the draft. So there's a lot of uncertainty out there, and we'll just have to wait to figure it out. But because many love to read mock drafts, Kadar released his 2016 mock, and if nothing else it should give you a general idea of some of the top names to keep an eye on this college football season.
