The NFL Top 100 list, a ranking of the best players from last season ranked by other players, continued tonight with numbers 40-31, and another Colt made the list. Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton came in at number 35 on the list of the best players in the league from last year.

Hilton has had a fantastic three-year start to his career with the Colts, as he has caught 214 passes for 3,289 yards and 19 touchdowns, emerging as Andrew Luck's clear-cut favorite target over the past two years. In 2014, Hilton took his play to another level, as he caught 82 passes, 1,345 yards and nine touchdowns, ranking among the top receivers in the league. He was a first down machine, as 62 of his 82 receptions (!) went for a first down. Stunningly, Hilton racked up 18 catches and 566 yards more than the second-leading receiver on the team last year. It was all about Hilton in the passing game, and he came through, making his first career Pro Bowl and developing into one of the league's top wideouts.
This ranking of number 35 does seem a bit high for him, however. It seems particularly high when you consider that cornerback Vontae Davis checked in at number 59 on the list a few weeks ago. Kicker Adam Vinatieri (number 98) also made the list to represent the Colts. And, of course, we know that quarterback Andrew Luck is still to come on the ranking. So congrats to T.Y. Hilton on making this list, as he's the third Colt to appear on this Top 100 list - with one more sure to come.
