Colts' Vontae Davis the 3rd-highest rated cornerback in Madden NFL 16

Colts cornerback Vontae Davis was revealed as the third-highest rated cornerback in Madden NFL 16, having a 95 overall rating.

Every year the new Madden video games are always very popular, and for Colts fans looking to play as their favorite team, they will have several good players to work with.  Quarterback Andrew Luck was already revealed as the fifth-highest rated player at his position in the game, and as EA Sports has continued to reveal the top at each position they revealed that Colts cornerback Vontae Davis is the third-highest rated player at his position in Madden NFL 16.

Davis boasts a 95 overall rating, with a 97 grade in man coverage and a 98 in press, which makes sense as he excels in the Colts' press man scheme.  He also has a 94 rating in zone coverage and grades well in run defense as well with an 88 speed rating and an 88 in play recognition as well.

Here's the top five cornerbacks in the game, per EA Sports, with their overall grade in parenthesis:

1.  Richard Sherman, Seattle Seahawks (97)

1.  Darrelle Revis, New York Jets (97)

3.  Vontae Davis, Indianapolis Colts (95)

4.  Chris Harris Jr., Denver Broncos (94)

5.  Sean Smith, Kansas City Chiefs (91)

Davis seemed to be quite happy with his rating in this year's Madden game as well, as he took to twitter to acknowledge his approval.

If you're looking to play as the Indianapolis Colts in Madden NFL 16 (and, let's be honest, why wouldn't you?), you won't just have a top-five quarterback on your team but also a top-five (and really, top-three) cornerback.
