Erich Schlegel-USA TODAY Sports

The Wild Card weekend of the NFL playoffs is done with, and we now turn our attention to this upcoming weekend's Divisional Round matchups.  Before that, however, comes the college football National Championship game, which will take place tonight between number one Clemson (14-0) and number two Alabama (13-1).

In the first round of the playoffs, both Clemson and Alabama won easily.  (1) Clemson defeated (4) Oklahoma 37-17, while (2) Alabama defeated (3) Michigan State 38-0.  That set up the top two teams in the country for a showdown in the National Championship game tonight.

Here's information on the game, and consider this your open thread to discuss the college football title game tonight if you so wish.

Game time: 8:30 p.m. ET

TV channel: ESPN

Announcers: Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit

Location: University of Pheonix Stadium, Glendale, Arizona

Tonight's game will feature this year's Heisman winner in Alabama running back Derrick Henry and this year's third-place finisher in the Heisman voting in Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson.  The game will feature quite a bit of potential NFL talent, which is another thing to be watching for tonight as the game goes on.  Which players will you be watching?  Should the Colts target any of them?  You can discuss all of that and more right here tonight as you watch the National Championship game.
