NFC Championship Game: Panthers vs. Cardinals Open Thread

Here's an open thread for you to discuss today's NFC Championship game between the Carolina Panthers and the Arizona Cardinals.

The second of today's championship round double-header takes place this evening as the Carolina Panthers host the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship game for the right to go to Super Bowl 50.

The Cardinals are coming off of a thrilling overtime win over the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round after wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald took over and carried the team to a victory.  The Panthers, meanwhile, jumped out to a 31-0 lead on the Seattle Seahawks before holding off a Seattle comeback attempt.

Just like in the AFC title game, this matchup features the top two seeds in the NFC facing off with the Super Bowl on the line.  There's zero doubt that the two best teams in the conference are playing against each other today, which is the way it should be, and it should be a very interesting and well-played game.  The league's likely MVP this year (Cam Newton) against a guy who was in the conversation (Carson Palmer) headline the quarterback battle, but it's about far more than just those two.

I've said for months that I think the Cardinals are the best team in football when they're playing well, and I'm sticking with that statement.  I expect it to be a close, entertaining football game today, but I'm taking Arizona to advance to the Super Bowl.  Either way, here's an open thread for you to discuss today's NFC Championship game.
