The NFL’s International Series continues this Sunday, and for the first time in a regular season game it includes the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts will play in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars (who play a game there every year) in what should be a great opportunity both for the team and for fans.
More important than the venue, however, is the fact that the Colts (1-2) will be looking to notch their first AFC South victory of the season and even their record up at .500 on the year against the 0-3 Jaguars. The Colts are 21-9 all-time against the Jaguars, and though they lost the most recent meeting they had won the previous six games before that.
Andrew Luck, who missed both contests against Jacksonville last year, is back and playing at a high level, and he’s a very popular figure in London due to his time spent in Europe. It’s a different week for the Colts, but it’s an exciting one and they have the chance to continue turning their season around. It won’t be easy (because divisional games never are), but it’s a great opportunity.
