Colts Wednesday Injury Report: 14 players miss practice for Colts

The Indianapolis Colts returned to practice today as they prepare for this Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans, but their participation report isn’t pretty.

That’s because 14 players in total sat out of practice today, while there were 18 guys appearing on the injury report in some capacity. That’s not encouraging, even though some of the players sat out purely for rest reasons. Here’s the full injury report today:

Did Not Practice:

Dwayne Allen, TE (ankle)

Henry Anderson, DT (knee)

Darius Butler, CB (calf and hamstring)

Phillip Dorsett, WR (foot and hamstring)

T.J. Green, S (knee)

Zach Kerr, NT (ankle)

Curt Maggitt, OLB (ankle)

Jack Mewhort, G (tricep)

Donte Moncrief, WR (shoulder)

Mike Adams, S (rest)

Vontae Davis, CB (rest)

Frank Gore, RB (rest)

Kendall Langford, DE (rest)

Robert Mathis, OLB (rest)

Limited Participation:

Jonotthan Harrison, C (illness)

T.Y. Hilton, WR (hip)

Full Participation:

Andrew Luck, QB (ankle)

Patrick Robinson, CB (hip)

Obviously the big concern is with the eight players who missed practice today due to injury, and several of them will likely be out on Sunday. Dwayne Allen, Henry Anderson, and Curt Maggitt are all week-to-week, while Donte Moncrief and Zach Kerr have both been labeled week-to-week as well (though we don’t have an updated designation for either of them this week).

It’s also worth noting that Patrick Robinson returned to being a full participant in practice today after missing Sunday’s game, which is especially good news considering the fact that Darius Butler missed practice today with calf and hamstring injuries. It should also be pointed out that, while Andrew Luck was a full participant, it’s a new injury for him in an ankle. And with Jonotthan Harrison limited, hopefully he might be able to return soon after missing the past several weeks.
