The Indianapolis Colts are just 3-5 on the season and they’re in third place in the AFC South, but it doesn’t get any easier this Sunday as they travel to Green Bay to face the Packers (4-3).
Historically, the teams are tied 21-21-1 in the all-time series, while the Colts won the most recent matchup in the Chuckstrong game in 2012. But the Packers are 12-8 against the Colts in Green Bay and Indianapolis hasn’t won there since 1988.
That history doesn’t matter much this Sunday, but the Colts are looking to avoid another loss at Lambeau against a good Packers team and a two-time NFL MVP in Aaron Rodgers, a future Hall of Famer. That’s not an ideal matchup for a struggling defense, and so the Colts will likely be counting on Andrew Luck and the offense to score quite a few points once again if they hope to win this one.
