Colts vs. Texans open thread

Thomas J. Russo-USA TODAY Sports

Though it's an early afternoon kickoff and not the most exciting matchup, there's no game more important on the NFL schedule today than the matchup between the Colts and the Texans in Indianpaolis.

The two teams are tied atop the AFC South at 6-6 along with the Titans, and the winner of the game today will take over firm control of first place in the division with just three weeks remaining. The loser will be left playing catch up, attempting desperately to make up ground and needing help from other teams in order to do so. In other words, it's safe to say that today's game could very well decide the division, making it a crucial contest.

The Colts and Texans both realize this, and a couple of Colts players this week called it a game seven atmosphere. The two teams will give it everything they've got today, and it should make for a close, hard-fought game that comes down to the end. Consider this your open thread for the game, but first let's take a look at some need-to-know info about the game.
