Between their game last Thursday night and their next game this Monday night, the Colts will have had quite a bit of time off from games, and that also means that they’ll have practiced more than normal in-between games.
So today the team simply held a walkthrough after full practices on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so today’s injury report is more of an estimation by the team. Nevertheless, they list three players as not participating in today’s practice, as Clayton Geathers, Patrick Robinson, and Robert Mathis didn’t work today.
Robinson is still dealing with a groin injury that has caused him to miss the whole week of practice so far, and Mathis is still dealing with the bicep injury he suffered on Thursday night. At this point, it looks unlikely that either will be able to play on Monday night, but there’s nothing official yet. As for Geathers, he was a full participant yesterday after missing last Thursday night’s game with a concussion, so while it’s looking likely he’ll clear the concussion protocol soon, Chuck Pagano said today that Geathers is also dealing with a neck injury that is separate from the concussion. Pagano said that at this point it’s too early to tell whether he will be able to play on Monday against the Jets.
Other than those three players, however, things are looking positive for the Colts. Vontae Davis, who was limited yesterday, was a full participant today, as was T.Y. Hilton (who didn’t work yesterday). Christopher Milton also returned to a full participant today, while Hassan Ridgeway was limited after not practicing yesterday.
