Colts inactives vs. Raiders: Only one Colts player out for injury reasons

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

Entering today’s game against the Oakland Raiders, the Indianapolis Colts’ 53-man roster is as healthy as it has been all season.

Only one player is inactive due to injury for the Colts, which is the fewest they’ve had in any single game this season. That player today is outside linebacker Chris Carter, who is out with a shoulder injury. Other than Carter, however, the other injured Colts players are active - and that includes cornerback Rashaan Melvin and tackle Joe Reitz (who were both questionable), as well as wide receiver Donte Moncrief and guard Denzelle Good.

Now, as a note (because there are sure to be people who comment without actually reading the article), the Colts do hae a lot of players on injured reserve, so this isn’t the healthiest the Colts have been this year - but it is the healthiest their 53-man roster has been this year. The guys who are actually active and on the team right now are healthy and ready to go outside of Chris Carter, which is really good news for a Colts team desperate for a win to stay alive in the playoff race.

Here’s a full list of the Colts’ inactives for this afternoon’s game:

Duke Williams, S

Charles James, CB

Chris Carter, OLB (shoulder)

Austin Blythe, OL

Kristjan Sokoli, DL

Jeremy Vujnovich, OL

Devin Street, WR
