Colts vs. Raiders open thread

Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

It's gameday!

The Indianapolis Colts (7-7) are in Oakland to take on the Raiders (11-3) today in a Christmas Eve showdown between two of the NFL's top offenses and two of the NFL's top quarterbacks, as Andrew Luck leads the Colts against Derek Carr and the Raiders.

The Colts desperately need a victory in order to stay alive in the playoff hunt, while the Raiders are looking for bigger things than just a playoff berth (which they've already clinched) as they look to win the AFC West and get a first round bye. So both teams have plenty to play for today, meaning motivation shouldn't be a factor. Instead, it will just be a game featuring two good offenses and two suspect defenses. That means we could see a high scoring affair in Oakland.

Whatever happens, consider this an open thread for you to discuss what happens in today's game - but first, here's some need-to-know information!
