NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Game Open Thread

New, comments

The final game of March Madness takes place tonight at 9:19 p.m. ET as North Carolina and Villanova play for the NCAA championship game. Here's an open thread for you to discuss the game.

The NFL offseason can get long and, at times, boring as we wait for football season to return.  We spend a lot of time talking about free agency and the NFL Draft and how the Colts will be next year, but it's also nice to have other sports to pay attention to while waiting for the return of football.

Tonight, March Madness comes to a close as the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Game takes place in Houston, Texas between the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Villanova Wildcats.  North Carolina is 33-6 on the year and beat Syracuse 83-66 in the Final Four on Saturday.  Villanova is 34-5 on the year and won 95-51 over Oklahoma in the Final Four, the biggest margin of victory in Final Four history.

Tonight, the two teams will face off in the title game at 9:19 p.m. ET on TBS.  If you're watching the game (or, like me, watching the game and flipping back and forth between the Cubs game), feel free to discuss it in the comments.  It's not football-related, but hopefully it helps just a little bit in getting us through the offseason.
