Colts players take to social media to celebrate Father’s Day

NFL: Indianapolis Colts-Minicamp Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

As all of you likely know, today was a holiday celebrating fathers. We mentioned earlier the biggest sports lesson Andrew Luck learned from his dad, but several other Colts players honored their fathers and Father’s Day on social media.

Some reflected on memories of their own father while thanking him, and others sent well wishes to other fathers who might be reading along. Some players have been fortunate enough to have their fathers impact their lives, but all of them have men they can look up to and honor.

Here are some of the tweets from Colts players celebrating Father’s Day.

And while former Colts quarterback Peyton Manning doesn’t have social media accounts, the NFL used a picture of Peyton and his son Marshall to celebrate Father’s Day on the league Instagram account.
