Colts release full 2016 training camp schedule, will have eleven practices open to public

The Indianapolis Colts have officially released their 2016 training camp schedule, as they will report to Anderson University for camp on Tuesday, July 26. Their first practice will take place the following day on Wednesday, July 27. Camp will conclude on Thursday, August 11.

In total, the Colts will have eleven practices open to the public during their stay at Anderson this year, which includes a night practice on Tuesday, August 2. The team’s training camp will span one preseason game, as the Colts play the Green Bay Packers in Canton, Ohio in the Hall of Fame game on Sunday, August 7.

Here’s the full schedule for training camp:

Tuesday, July 26 - players report, no practice

Wednesday, July 27 - open practice, 1:55-4:40 p.m.

Thursday, July 28 - open practice, 1:55-4:40 p.m.

Friday, July 29 - open practice, 1:55-4:40 p.m.

Saturday, July 30 - players’ day off, no practice

Sunday, July 31 - open practice, 1:55-4:40 p.m.

Monday, August 1 - open practice, 1:55-4:40 p.m.

Tuesday, August 2 - open practice, 6:25-9:10 p.m.

Wednesday, August 3 - players’ day off, no practice

Thursday, August 4 - open practice, 1:55-4:40 p.m.

Friday, August 5 - open practice, 1:55-4:40 p.m.

Saturday, August 6 - travel day, no practice

Sunday, August 7 - Hall of Fame game vs. Packers

Monday, August 8 - no practice

Tuesday, August 9 - open practice, 1:55-4:40 p.m.

Wednesday, August 10 - open practice, 1:55-4:40 p.m.

Thursday, August 11 - open practice, 8:05-10:30 a.m., break camp

It might be the true dead period of the NFL year, but training camp is coming soon.
