There’s still a month before the Indianapolis Colts report to training camp at Anderson University, meaning there are still several weeks until they can do team activities again. That doesn’t mean that the work stops during this time, however, and some players are choosing to work out together.
Andrew Luck said that he and Ryan Kelly will workout together during this portion of the offseason to build their relationship and work on the quarterback/center exchange, and today wide receiver Donte Moncrief tweeted that he’s going to be working out with T.Y. Hilton and Phillip Dorsett.

Hilton, Moncrief, and Dorsett are the top three on the depth chart at wide receiver and will be the primary focus of the receiving game for Andrew Luck, along with tight end Dwayne Allen. The three young but talented wideouts have plenty of potential individually and as a unit, and so they’re putting in the work this offseason to reach that potential.
T.Y. Hilton is clearly the established star of the group, as he has put together three straight 1,000-yard seasons and two straight Pro Bowl campaigns. Donte Moncrief had an impressive sophomore season last year as he caught 64 passes for 733 yards and six touchdowns, and he has his sights set even higher this year: on a 1,200 yard, eight touchdown year. Phillip Dorsett was drafted in the first round of last year’s draft and though he didn’t have a big impact as a rookie he has a lot of talent. The depth spots behind those three are up for grabs, but it’s clear that the top of the depth chart at the wide receiver position will be the heavy emphasis of the passing game.
