The preseason finale is here!
The Indianapolis Colts return to the field tonight to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth preseason game, an annual tradition between these two teams. It's a game in which the backups play, as the starters are almost all held out with the regular season opener just ten days away.
With all of that said, there's still some value to this game (albeit less than even normal preseason games). This will be the last chance for many of the bubble players to prove themselves and to prove that they belong on the 53-man roster. With the final cutdown to 53 players due by Saturday afternoon, there are a number of players for both teams that will be looking to make a great impression - whether on their current team or on another one. That's the value behind this game, so there are some interesting players to be watching.
Normally, however, the game isn't too exciting or well-played, so if you're going to be watching it you'll probably want to utilize our open thread even more to keep yourself entertained. So here's that thread for you to discuss all things Colts tonight - but first, here's some need-to-know information about the game.
