It’s been a longer wait than usual for Colts football to return, but it’s finally back tomorrow. The Colts will host the Detroit Lions in the regular season opener, which will also mark the return of Andrew Luck.
Luck hasn’t played in an official game since last November, when he suffered a lacerated kidney in a win over the Denver Broncos. Luck is back this week, however, and the Colts will certainly need him. The team will be without several key defensive players, including Vontae Davis, Henry Anderson, Darius Butler, Clayton Geathers, and possibly Sio Moore. That means the offense will need to carry the Colts, putting all of the pressure on Andrew Luck.
It should be an exciting game with plenty of offense, and it will be a chance to finally watch Colts football after all these months. So to get you ready for the game, here’s everything you need to know:
