After a really tough last-minute loss to the Lions last week, the Indianapolis Colts (0-1) will get back on the field this Sunday to face the Denver Broncos (1-0) on the road.
The Broncos are the defending Super Bowl champion and have a dominating defense, which will provide a very interesting matchup with Andrew Luck and Indy’s offense. The Colts emerged with a victory in the matchup last year and actually have done very well against the Broncos historically. The Colts hold a 13-12 edge all-time in the series with the Broncos, but they have gone 11-3 since Peyton Manning arrived in Indianapolis, have won eight of their last nine, and are 3-1 against the Broncos in the Andrew Luck era (including a victory in the postseason). None of that guarantees success this time around, however, and Luck and the offense will need to produce against a very good opponent.
