Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton makes phenomenal catch along sideline

Earlier this week, Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton guaranteed that he’d make plays after he had yet to have that game-changing play so far this year.

He certainly is living up to that proclamation today, as he completely took over the Colts’ first drive of the second half. The Colts went 80 yards to score the go-ahead touchdown, and on the drive Hilton caught three passes for 48 yards as he had his way with Chargers cornerback Jason Verrett.

No play was prettier than a 33-yard completion along the sideline, however. It was a great throw by Andrew Luck, but it was an even better catch by Hilton. Take a look for yourself:

Hilton did a great job of locating the ball over his shoulder and keeping his feet in bounds as he hauled in the pass. That’s a big-time play, and it added a significant chunk of yardage to a drive that wound up getting seven points for the Colts.

Through three quarters, Hilton had racked up five catches for 91 yards for the Colts on Sunday as he certainly is doing his part to help the offense and help fill in for the loss of Donte Moncrief.
