Another week and another victory for the great seer, soothsayer, and sage, TNutty. This is starting to get crazy. TNutty nailed 4 out of 5 for the win and, had someone else got 4 correct, he would have had the tie-breaker again...unreal! Let’s quickly recap last week’s wagers.
Wager number one was merely a question of even or odd on total points. There’s nothing to analyze here. The total was 58. Even
Wager number two was total combined rushing yards for both quarterbacks. The over/under was set at 49.5 and only Jacoby Brissett contributed. With Marcus Mariota nursing a sore hamstring, it wasn’t surprising to see him stay in the pocket. Brissett only had 15 yards so the under was very safe. Under
Wager number three was total first downs given up by the Colts defense and the over/under was set at 21.5. The Titans were able to move the ball with little resistance, tallying 473 net yards and only punting once. They were nearly 50% on third down conversions and converted a 4th down as well. All of that led to the over with 25 first downs. Over
Wager number four was a yes or no question regarding either team blocking an extra point, field goal or punt. There were several punts, field goals and extra points and, outside of the rare missed extra point by Adam Vinatieri, it was pretty quiet. No
Wager number five asked who would score last. The Colts have been pretty bad in the second half this season and last week was no exception. The Titans scored 3 touchdowns and 2 field goals while the Colts were only able to tally one of each. The Titans ended the game with two unanswered touchdowns. Titans
Total attendance was 63,888. TNutty guessed 62,213. Another impressive week. TNutty will how have his named entered three times in the end of the season drawing.
Here are this week’s wagers.
- Total receptions by Colts receivers? Over 19.5/Under 19.5
- Total rushing touchdowns by both teams? Over 2.5/Under 2.5
- Total interceptions by the Colts defense? Over 1.5/Under 1.5
- Will either team convert on a 4th down? Yes/No
- Which team will score the first touchdown? Colts/Jaguars
Tie-Breaker: Official Game Attendance (closest without going over).
Please use this example as the format to wager: Over. Under. Under. No. Colts. 61,750.
Good luck and happy betting.
