First and foremost, I hope that everyone is enjoying some time with friends and family on this Thanksgiving Day. Now, for today’s Colts Cast, I spent some time speaking on those players who are, and could be coming back from IR and the benefits for both sides of the ball with those additions.
Naturally, we’re talking about Clayton Geathers who has already been activated and will be playing Sunday — under a ‘pitch count’ — and possibly Erik Swoope who has declared himself as ‘ready to go’ but hasn’t been activated as of yet.
It seems likely that a roster move will be made in the coming days in order to get Swoope on the field if he truly is ready. Additionally, in order to come correct on maintaining it would be extremely beneficial if Matthias Farley is also able to play. His knee could prevent that and I dive into the defense to discuss what possible avenues the Indianapolis Colts may be forced to travel.
I also go through the injury report as it were, jump over to the offense and speak about ways the Colts can get T.Y. Hilton open more than they did in their first meeting with the Tennessee Titans, and how the addition of Swoope to the offense could make Jacoby Brissett a quarterback with a great deal of options heading into Week 12.
All of that and much more on today’s Colts Cast. Enjoy the turkey!
