The Indianapolis Colts are heading into Houston in a strange situation. The roster has been decimated with key injuries, and now they will have the opportunity to get a big divisional win as the Houston Texans will be without their offensive lifeblood Deshaun Watson.

Earlier in the week we heard that Vontae Davis was not making the trip and would not play in Week 9, though it was not injury related. Meanwhile rookie corner Quincy Wilson is also inactive today, but this time after being on the injury report for the week.
The Colts are also tasked with hoping their best lineman Anthony Castonzo can remain healthy throughout the game in the midst of the unit being at the bottom of the barrel already. Castonzo is active today, but he’ll bare watching.
Without John Simon the Colts will need rookie Tarell Basham to continue to flash in the pass rush and improve his coverage ability as he and Barkevious Mingo will be tasked with very important snaps opposite Jabaal Sheard.
Most of the Colts inactive are exactly what we expected.
