New, comments

The Colts’ injury report is smaller than normal to start Week 17.

The Indianapolis Colts have released their injury report for Wednesday, the opening day of practice for the week. They host the Houston Texans this Sunday for the final game of the season.

Two starters — right tackle Denzelle Good (knee) and defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins (ankle) — did not practice. Good has been out since Week 15, when he suffered a knee injury while blocking Denver Broncos pass rusher Von Miller. Hankins also missed last week’s opening practice with a shoulder injury.

Reserve tight end/special teamer Jason Vander Laan (concussion) missed today’s practice as well.

Starting wide receiver and impending free agent Donte Moncrief (ankle), who has missed the last three games, returned to practice for the first time today.

Although this is the first day or practice for the week, this is the smallest that the Colts’ injury report has been so far this season. It typically carries at least seven-plus players on it on a good week.
