No surprise, but Indianapolis is expected to part ways with head coach Chuck Pagano, per sources.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 31, 2017
Sunday is the final day of games in the 2017 regular season. The following day is annually dubbed “Black Monday”, signaling the firing of several of the NFL’s head coaches.
Pagano’s head-coaching career started off hot, going 33-15 (.688) with three playoff appearances in his first three years. However, since then, the Colts have gone 19-28 (.404) and have missed the playoffs in the three seasons since.
Pagano has often had to deal with life without Pro Bowl quarterback Andrew Luck, but a lack of player development and blatant coaching flubs have been impossible to hide.
Stay tuned here to Stampede Blue for more news on Pagano as it comes about.
